When the vehicle leaves, the deposit can be taken by « Préautorisation carte » (card preauthorization) as well as in cash: you enter the « Montant garanti » (guaranteed amount) and the « Numéro d'autorisation » (authorization number), nothing is debited, and a guarantee deposit certificate replaces the receipt. The contract and the reservation show « Garantie par : Préautorisation carte — non débitée » (guaranteed by card preauthorization, not debited), and the cash journal only counts an amount withheld from that guarantee.

For a customer who walks in without a reservation, the « Location immédiate » (immediate rental) button, next to « Nouvelle réservation » in reservations and on the dashboard, chains the reservation already confirmed, the check-in and then the contract signature, with only the customer's name and phone needed up front. In any new reservation, « Confirmer maintenant » (confirm now) in the summary saves it already confirmed; it is on by default when the departure is today.

On tablets and phones, lists open as a grid and the « Location immédiate » (immediate rental) button shrinks to its icon. A vehicle's photos follow the order of the views and open full size in one click, and outlined tags are easier to read.

The return (check-out) now takes two steps, designed for the phone: « État du véhicule » (vehicle condition), then « Dommages et signature » (damage and signature). The first one gathers the return time, mileage, fuel, interior condition, returned accessories, photos and your comments. The second one shows the damage noted at departure, marked « Au départ » (at departure), then recalls the deposit held just above the customer signature (« Caution détenue : …, restituée après la facture. », deposit held: …, refunded after the invoice), to answer the customer who asks for it. The signature stays optional and spans the whole width on a phone.

The reservation list now shows each reservation's contract number and missing scan alert as soon as it opens, without having to open the reservation first.

The « Brouillard de caisse » (cash journal), the « Relevé déclaratif » (declarative statement), the « Relevé par agence » (statement per agency) and the « État du prélèvement journalier » (daily levy statement) now count every payment on its day in the local time of the country: a payment made at 00:30 no longer appears on the day before, and the chosen period covers exactly its days, from 00:00 on the first one to 24:00 on the last one.

The amount left to pay and the overpayment of a rental are always computed on its rental invoice in force: a refurbishment invoice or a cancelled invoice no longer distorts them, and a refurbishment invoice no longer shows an overpayment.

Saving « Identité de la société » (company identity) no longer deletes the stamp already stored for your company: changing the name, the description or the logo leaves it in place, and your unsigned contracts are no longer regenerated for nothing.

You can send the customer the return or interruption confirmation from the « État des lieux » (inspection) tab of the reservation, with « Envoyer l'e-mail de retour » (send the return email) or « Envoyer l'e-mail d'interruption » (send the interruption email), as many times as needed. The button of the « Contrat » (contract) tab is now called « Envoyer l'e-mail de remise du véhicule » (send the vehicle handover email).

To record a request taken over the phone, the customer's first name, last name and phone are enough: the email, the address and the « Pièces du conducteur » (driver documents) step become optional, and you can book right away. The identity document and driving licence are required when the vehicle leaves: at check-in, a banner names the driver to complete, with « Compléter » (complete), and the departure is only recorded once their documents are filled in. For a rental in the name of a company, a second driver who is a person is required. In the customer list and on the customer record, the « Pièces à compléter » (documents to complete) tag flags incomplete records, and « Pas d'e-mail » (no email) the customers Autoria sends nothing to.

You now choose whether your customers receive an email at the vehicle handover and at its return (Paramètres › Facturation, « E-mails automatiques aux clients » (automatic emails to customers)). These emails are off by default; you can still send them from the reservation.

As soon as the departure is recorded, the contract signature opens on its own: « Valider et signer le contrat » (validate and sign the contract) with the generated contract, « Marquer comme signé sur papier » (mark as signed on paper) with the contract booklet. If you close it without signing, resume it from the « Contrat » (contract) tab.

When you change your company logo, the contracts not signed yet are updated automatically. Signed contracts do not change.

The return or interruption email of a rental signed on paper no longer contains the unsigned contract: only the photos and the scan of the signed contract are attached.

« Nouveau client » (new customer), in the customer list, now offers « Client particulier » (individual customer) or « Client professionnel » (business customer), and each choice opens its own window, with only the steps of that type of customer. The same choice is offered by « Créer un client » (create a customer) in the reservation wizard. For an individual, the photos of the identity card and driving licence are added right in the « Pièces du conducteur » (driver documents) step, in the optional « Photos des pièces » (document photos) block: creation takes two steps instead of three.

What your plan does not include now comes after what you can use. The customer record opens on « Réservations » (reservations): the « Risque » (risk) tab, part of the Pro plan, comes last and carries the Pro badge in its title. In the dashboard and Analyses, the occupancy rate tile and the blocks of the Pro plan come after the others, and « Exporter le journal des ventes » (export the sales journal) comes after the statistics toggle in the Billing menu. Once on the Pro plan, each one goes back to its usual place.

At check-in, confirming right after reaching the « Caution et lieux » (Deposit and places) step is no longer refused: the paid deposit is sent with its « Méthode de paiement » (Payment method), instead of the field being flagged as empty although it was filled in.

« Créer un client » (create a customer) offers two paths: « Particulier » (individual) or « Entreprise » (company). A company is created on a single screen, with its legal name, tax identifier, contact and head office address, without a date of birth, identity document or driving licence, and it is recognized by its tax identifier: a second record with the same tax identifier is refused. For an individual, an optional « Documents » step lets you add photos of their identity card and driving licence right at creation, visible only to your team.

The « Documents » (documents) tab of the customer record now shows even when the record has no document yet: you can attach a copy of the driving licence and identity document of a customer you have just created.

In analytics, « Ancienneté du permis » (licence seniority) now puts a customer whose licence issue date is missing in « Non renseignée » (not provided), instead of « 10 ans et plus » (10 years or more).

You can now email several invoices at once: tick them in « Facturation » (billing), then « Envoyer la sélection par e-mail… » (send the selection by email), or click « Envoyer les … factures par e-mail… » (send the invoices by email) right after issuing a batch. The confirmation lists the customers without an email address and the invoices already sent, which are not sent, and the report shows the invoices sent, failed or without a recipient.

Choosing the vehicle now has a step of its own when creating a reservation and when reporting an incident: no more scrolling through the whole list of vehicles to reach the other fields. For a reservation started from a period, the price is given in the « Récapitulatif » (summary).

Check-in now takes two steps, designed for the phone: « État du véhicule » (vehicle condition), then « Caution et lieux » (deposit and locations). The first one follows the walk around the car and starts with the drivers, with the number and date of their identity document and driving licence; a missing document is flagged « À compléter » (to complete), and « Compléter » (complete) or « Corriger » (fix) opens the customer record on top of the check-in without losing what you entered. Accessories and handed-over equipment are folded with a summary (« 6 équipements, tous remis », 6 items, all handed over). Locations already set show on one line (« Retrait : … », « Retour : identique »). On a phone, the mileage opens the numeric keypad. At check-in, « Corriger » (fix) on customer information missing from the contract also opens the customer record on top.

« Créer un client » (create a customer) now follows the counter order: first the customer (identity, phone, email, address), then the « Pièces du conducteur » (driver documents). The identity document gathers in a single block, in the order of the card (front then back), the number, the date and place of birth, the date of issue and the nationality, next to the driving licence. On a phone, these fields are shown one below the other.

Damage is now noted the same way everywhere: at check-in, check-out, interruption, inspection correction and in « Déclarer un incident » (report an incident), the vehicle diagram is shown directly, each point can be deleted from the list, and on return the departure damage is recalled on the diagram (« Au départ », at departure). « Déclarer un incident » fits on a single screen, offers the accident report form when a third party is involved, and saves with just the vehicle and the date: the description becomes optional.

Creating a reservation now takes three steps instead of five: « Dates et véhicule » (dates and vehicle), « Clients » (customers), then « Récapitulatif » (summary). You first pick the dates and a free vehicle, and the estimated total shows as soon as both are chosen. The pickup and return locations are listed in the summary, with « Modifier » (edit) to change them; your company address is proposed by default when it is the only possible one.

In step-by-step windows (check-in, check-out, interruption, creation of a reservation, a customer or a vehicle), « Confirmer » (confirm) now only shows on the last step: you go through every step, damage included, before saving. When editing, « Enregistrer » (save) stays available at every step. On a phone, the buttons fit on one line and the top of the window tells the current step.

The notification panel explains what it shows when it is empty, shows when it is loading and offers to try again after an error.

You no longer receive a notification for the actions you made yourself: the bell shows what the rest of the team does and the upcoming deadlines.

In the Help Center, the « J'ai relu mes conditions » (I have reviewed my terms) button of « Bien démarrer » (Getting started) now sits on the step's row, on the right, instead of standing alone below it.

Opening a notification now marks it as read, and the bell counter goes down right away.

The reminder for a late departure or return is no longer sent again every 10 minutes once read: you receive it once per scheduled date, and again if the date changes.

Your company's new logo, like the other company details you change in the settings, now shows right after saving and stays shown when you move to another page, without reloading the app.

Moving from an invoice booklet or another software during the year? In the « Numérotation des factures » (invoice numbering) card of the billing settings, enter once the last number of your previous series and its date, before your first invoice: the first invoice issued in Autoria takes the next number and cannot be dated before that day. Credit notes are resumed the same way.

In Settings, « Société » (company) tab, the « Facturation électronique (El Fatoora) » block lets you declare, with a supporting document, whether your company is a member of El Fatoora. An « Adhérente » (member) company issues its invoices dated today and always corrects them with a credit note and a new invoice; as long as Autoria does not transmit them to El Fatoora, a banner reminds you to file them there yourself.

You can now also bring your customers in from an Excel or CSV file, in « Paramètres » (settings), « Import de données » (data import) tab, blocklist included: a customer marked as blocked in the file is imported blocked, with the reason from its « Motif du blocage » (reason for the block) column. Every row is checked like manual entry: an incomplete row is refused, and an identity document your company already knows does not create a duplicate.

You can now bring your vehicles in from an Excel or CSV file, in « Paramètres » (settings), « Import de données » (data import) tab: Autoria checks every row with the same rules as manual entry, shows you the refused rows and why, then creates the records once you agree. An import is followed in the same tab and can be cancelled as long as its records are not in use.

You can continue the numbering of your booklet: in the « Numérotation des contrats » (contract numbering) card of the rental settings, choose the next contract number of each agency for the current year. The number can only move forward, skipped numbers are never assigned and contracts already issued do not change.

When your company keeps one customer record per agency, entering an identity document blocked in another agency shows « Client bloqué dans une autre agence » (customer blocked in another agency) with the date of the block, without name, reason or agency. The Owner opens a record of another agency by giving a reason, which the agency finds in the « Accès motivés » tab (motivated accesses) of the record.

In the « Déclarations » (declarations) tab of the settings, the « Relevé par agence » (statement by agency) block gives, for the chosen month, the figures of each agency (invoices issued and stamp duty, revenue, VAT collected, days subject to the levy, invoiced, collected and still to issue) and the « Toutes les agences » (all agencies) line, with a CSV export that details each amount.

In « Paramètres » (settings), the « Agences » (agencies) tab lets you open and rename your agencies, and choose the agencies each team member sees.

A vehicle's daily rate and a pricing period's price must now be above 0, whether entered by hand or imported: a vehicle without a rate is no longer saved, and the refusal is shown under the daily rate field. Your existing vehicles are not changed.

The welcome email, sent to the Owner, and the welcome notification, sent to the Owner and the Administrators, now take you straight to the dashboard of your new company, where the Bien démarrer card guides you to your first signed contract.

An action not included in your plan keeps the look of its usual button, with the badge of the plan that includes it after its label, including in action menus.

The check-in of a vehicle waits until its previous rental has been checked out: the reservation record and the dashboard queue show which rental to return, with a link to it. Creating a reservation tells you when the chosen vehicle has not been returned yet.

A wrong return time on an issued invoice is corrected with a credit note and a new invoice, from « Corriger l'état des lieux (avoir) » (correct the inspection, credit note): the late return, the levy and the period of the new invoice follow the corrected time.

Correct the return time as long as the invoice is not issued, including as an employee: the late return and the invoice to issue are recalculated. Each correction is kept on the record.

When you have access to several agencies, the lists of vehicles, reservations, billing, maintenance and incidents have an « Agence » (agency) filter and column. The filter only offers your agencies; nothing changes for a company with a single agency.

The dashboard of the Owner and the Administrator shows the « Bien démarrer » (getting started) card with the steps left to get your company up and running. You can hide it, then bring it back from the help center with « Afficher à nouveau sur le tableau de bord » (show again on the dashboard).

Release notes are now published on a page of the website, in French and English, day by day. In the application, the « Voir les notes de version » (see the release notes) link of the « Mise à jour » (update) panel and the « Notes de version » (release notes) card of the « Centre d'aide » (help center) open it in a new tab.

A chart or table in « Analyses » that is not included in your plan shows a blurred preview, the badge of the plan that includes it and a button to see the plans; the « Risque » (risk) tab of the customer record follows the same look.

In the « Abonnement » (subscription) tab of the settings, the « Besoin de plus de marge ? » (need more room?) box uses the colours and icon of the higher plan it suggests.

In the « État des lieux » (inspection) tab of a reservation, the check-in and return photos are shown in the same order as the vehicle gallery, view by view, whatever the order in which they were taken.

The entitlement history of the « Abonnement » (subscription) page displays again instead of an error.

Interrupting is available from the start of the rental, to bill only the days used. Returning (check-out) warns you about a return before the planned end, and an interruption at or after the planned end is refused.

The button of a feature not included in your plan now shows the colours of the plan that includes it, and its text stays readable on hover.

Check-out and interruption show, under the return time, the number of late days the chosen time will bill, with the estimated late rent, and warn you if this return falls in a month already declared.

Enter the actual return time of the vehicle at check-out and at interruption: now, at the planned end or at another date and time. Late days are counted from that time.

A feature not included in your plan is easier to recognise: its button takes the colours of the plan that includes it, with the Pro or Réseau badge, and the window that opens on click uses the same look.

The line of a late return whose rent you waive is titled « Jours de retard — loyer offert » (late days — rent waived), on the invoice as in its confirmation. The « Offrir le loyer des jours de retard » (waive the rent of the late days) box only appears for an actual late return and shows the rent waived.

The return mileage can no longer be lower than the check-in mileage. The return email shows the date and time of the return.

The invoice to issue is recalculated when a return is corrected into an interruption. If it was edited by hand, the correction is refused with a link to the rental's billing.

Keeping the default terms and conditions? The « J'ai relu mes conditions » (I have reviewed my terms) button, in the « Bien démarrer » (getting started) list of the help center, ticks the terms step for the whole company.

When a rental invoice is issued, its preview shows the whole page, without scrolling, whatever the size of your screen. The PDF viewer also offers the « Ajuster à la page » (fit to page) zoom.

A second customer record with the same identity document is refused: use the existing record. A company that manages its customers per agency has one record per agency, each agency only sees its own rentals on the record of a shared customer, and the customer's risk is still calculated across the whole company.

In the history, an update made automatically after a member's action (price of a pending reservation, vehicle mileage, quote, contract, receipt) now shows the member of your team who triggered it.

The « Bien démarrer » (getting started) list of the help center now follows the real state of your company: the company profile, a first vehicle with a daily rate, reviewed terms and conditions, a first signed contract, then inviting your team, which is optional. Each member only sees the steps their role allows them to do.

In « Analyses », profitability per vehicle and maintenance cost per vehicle are part of the Pro plan: on another plan, their blocks show a padlock and tell you which plan includes them. Vehicles to resell are still shown, based on their age and mileage.

Billed extras, the occupancy rate, at-risk customers and the cash book and sales journal exports are part of the Pro plan: on another plan, their button shows a padlock and tells you which plan includes them. Your extras can still be viewed, and those already included in a rental are still billed.

Pricing periods and automatic payment reminders are part of the Pro plan: on another plan, their button shows a padlock and tells you which plan includes them. The periods and reminders you had already set up stay in place and keep applying.

In « Rechercher dans la société » (search the company), each customer found now shows their real number of reservations, which stayed at zero. A member limited to one agency only sees the figures and results of their agency in the dashboard, the analyses and the search; in the planning, a vehicle booked by another agency simply shows as « Occupé » (busy).

A payment recorded while a credit note is being issued or an invoice revised can no longer exceed the balance due after the credit note or the revision. A credit note issued while the same invoice is being corrected no longer fails.

A payment recorded while the rental is being settled with a discount, or edited at the same time as another one, can no longer exceed the balance due. A pending rental payment can no longer be marked as paid before the vehicle is returned, as for a new payment.
