Manage your agencies and change a vehicle's agency

Every vehicle of the company is assigned to an agency. A company with a single agency has nothing to do: all its vehicles are assigned to it and the app shows no agency.

See a vehicle's agency

When the company has several agencies, a vehicle page shows its Agence (agency) in the information block, on the left.

Change a vehicle's agency

Only the Propriétaire (owner) and the Administrateurs (administrators) of the whole company can change a vehicle's agency.

1. Open Véhicules (vehicles), then the vehicle page.
2. Click Changer d'agence (change agency), in the page actions menu or next to the vehicle's agency.
3. Choose the Nouvelle agence (new agency). Only the active agencies of the company are offered.
4. Check the list of the vehicle's Réservations confirmées (confirmed reservations), then click Changer d'agence.

The change is immediate. It is kept in the vehicle's assignment history, with its author and date.

What does not change

• Confirmed reservations keep their agency. The vehicle can serve them from its new agency, as a loan between agencies, or be replaced by a vehicle of their agency.
• Reservations, contracts, invoices and payments already created are not modified.

When the change is refused

• The vehicle is rented: from departure (departure inspection recorded) until its return, its agency cannot change. The message "Ce véhicule est en location : son agence ne peut pas changer avant son retour." (this vehicle is rented: its agency cannot change before its return) is shown.
• The chosen agency is not active: only an active agency can receive vehicles.
• The account is read-only: like any change, the agency change waits until the subscription is settled.
